খুররম মুরাদখুররম মুরাদ (১৯৩২-১৯৯৬) ছিলেন এমন এক বিরল ব্যক্তিত্ব, যার জীবনে প্রকৌশল, বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক সাধনা, দাওয়াহ ও আত্মগঠনের পথ একসূত্রে মিলেছিল। খ্যাতিমান সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ার হিসেবে তিনি মক্কার মসজিদুল হারাম সম্প্রসারণ-সংক্রান্ত প্রকৌশল কার্যক্রমে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব পালন করেন; পরে যুক্তরাজ্যের দ্য ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনের মহাপরিচালক হিসেবে ইসলামি চিন্তা ও দাওয়াহর আন্তর্জাতিক পরিসরকে সমৃদ্ধ করেন। কিন্তু তার পরিচয়ের গভীরতম স্তর ছিল একজন কুরআননিষ্ঠ মানুষ হিসেবে; যিনি জ্ঞানকে জীবনের আমলে এবং দাওয়াহকে আত্মশুদ্ধির সঙ্গে যুক্ত করেছিলেন। Way to the QurÕan , In the Early Hours সহ তার রচনায় সেই অন্তর্মুখী সাধনা ও জাগরণ ফুটে উঠেছে। শিশুদের জন্যও তিনি হৃদয়গ্রাহী, শিক্ষামূলক ও প্রেরণাদায়ী গল্প রেখে গেছেন, যা আজও পাঠকের হৃদয়ে আলো জ্বেলে রেখেছে।
